Bozeman: The drawer yet again!
Mission of the morning was to take a shower! Then off to buy an Alaskan Milepost, the Bible for travel through Canada to and in Alaska. Will be critical since most of the way there won’t be internet. Lucky to have a Barnes & Noble in this college town. Found the “Bible.” Now I feel more secure since there is little reliable internet through Canada.
After scoring the purchase, we tried to take a hike in mountains on a trail banked by waterfalls. Nearly drove up the 8 miles into forest service land only to be greeted by a mountain storm and a huge traffic jam of 4th of July weekenders still out enjoying the nearby lake. So we bagged it and took a teeny 1/3 mile hike along a mountain stream. At least we were still in nature.
Boondocked again at a Forest Service campsite. And….had to fix the drawer yet again!! It had popped out all the way on the windy roads and broke in the same place. Hoping that 2nd time will be the charm and that it won’t happen a 3rd time!
